My french Prof in her usual accent asked us if we're hybrid as Singaporeans with this question we thought we heard: 'Do you have Maserati (sports car)?' At this, the whole class was confused. Only when she clarified: 'Do you drink Masala tea (Indian beverage)?' that we all understood and burst out laughing. That was fun.
