I know i haven accounted anything here in particular, just my thoughts on things which concern that of Whom i believe in and i believe that's really all that matters in the end. all my talk about anything else will just disappear in due time. In any case, i'll just contradict myself for just one post.
Daphne is coming today! I have so little time to do my essay which is not yet coming to me... still stuck in the worldwideweb with my prof. School is ending in 3 weeks and i really dont feel it yet. i guess it's because NUS semesters are always longer. Now i'll learn to treasure that as well. Time in uni or life for that matter on this earth, is like sand in the hour glass. Once it has flowed from one end to the other, it's gone. You can't really turn that back unless you reflip the glass. You can't reflip that glass cos you're inside time. Only God can turn it and extend your life cos He is outside time.

Thundering Waves at Point Dume Beach, Los Angeles
The days are running out in California and i love every bit of it. Not to say that I didnt realize God's goodness in Singapore, but it became so obvious that He is in every bit of creation all around me when I'm in this foreign land. He's in the mountains towering high above, the crashings waves against the cliff rocks, the draft of wind which forces me to wrap around my jacket tighter, the scent of fresh technicoloured flowers, the giant sequoia trees looking down at me in grandeur and the pure white snow flakes that float down onto my tongue. Such silent yet powerful witnesses to God's presence on this earth. May this be a testimony and spark a desire of salvation in those who have yet to know Him personally.
[For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:20]

A clip from Family Guy. The little guy Stewie is calling out to his mum, Lois whom he usually hates but in this episode, he kinda loves her. So, he's doing what my brothers and i sometimes do to our mum - irritate.

Such a beautiful place... Yosemite (pronounced as Yo-seh-meh-tee) boasts of tall peaks like El Capitan and sparkling waters like Mirror Lake. When i was in the middle of the valley and gazed at all the mountains surrounding me, I couldnt help but stand in awe and wonder. And yet, there's a God more powerful than all these. If He could make something so intricate like an icicle and something so massive like mountains yet hold them in place, how much more He cares for us as humans!

How easy it is to fall away from God without the support of brothers and sisters around. That is one of the reasons why God instituted the church, to enable Christians around to build up each other, minister to each other and in so doing, pulling each other away from the grasps of the slippery slope of losing zeal and fervor for Christ. One never realizes the importance of church-going till he does not go to church and experiences the emptiness of non-fellowship. If that person truly has repented to God, his heart would yearn for Him and the fellowship of His children.
Philippians 1:2-3 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

My first time rock climbing and boy am i addicted! Went camping and rock climbing in Joshua Tree National Park, which is near San Bernardino in California. The landscape was magnificent with all those sand outcrops, bornhardts and tors. The sky was filled entirely with stars in the night expanse and those joshua trees populated the whole park. Rock climbing is safe for beginners as they tie up the lead ropes first and then let you climb up with a belayer to hold you (and bear your weight if you lose your grip). The rocks were pretty sharp though, so i had pretty neat badges of honor (blue-blacks and bruises) all over my knee and cuts on my hands. But still, they were well-earned!
Made a total of 4 climbs on top of all the bouldering and scrambling Amanda and I did. Bouldering aka scrambling is simply hopping from rock to rock till you get pretty high on those rock formations. You can even boulder higher than when you rock climb in joshua tree park cos those rocks are stacked so neatly on top of each other. How those rocks get stacked up so high and neatly has many theories, but I believe that on top of all those theories, God was the one who ultimately made them stay where they are.

Who Am I
I'm Lois, a human being saved and currently alive by God's grace.
[I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
Galations 2:20]
