I have never tried a macaron before and so, when i popped by a pastry shop in Holland Grove (opp Henry Park Pri), my taste buds had a pleasant surprise. Were it not for my junior manning the store, I would not even have taken a second look other than admiring the lovely-tiered cakes on display at the window. But boy are they delicious. Hard at touch but soft when bitten into. With chocolate or vanilla in the centre, you've gotta try them!
