When one of the kids in sunday school had sore throat last sunday, I wondered how to encourage him to sing hymns to God. Then it struck me that it's not the loudness of one's singing nor the most perfect pitch, but the singing of the heart. The phrase 'then sings my soul' in the hymn 'How Great Thou Art' best describes this thought I had. It is the soul/heart that sings that pleases God.
I bent over and told the kid that even the mute can sing praises to God with their hearts and so can he with a sore throat.

Who Am I
I'm Lois, a human being saved and currently alive by God's grace.
[I am crucified with Christ: neverthless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.
Galations 2:20]
