It's the start of a new week and a recess one in fact. Yet, I do not feel like it is a 100% recess from work. That is good by the way. Because my work on earth will never be done until God takes me home. Till then, I love what one of my dear sis in Christ wrote: "because before you reap, you must first sow, even if it is recess week." God says in Galatians 6:7 - Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. I am thus reminded to focus on the former - the sowing part this very week where I have a no-day work-week instead of a 3-day one.
I will resolve this week and the rest of the semester, not to be like the fool in Proverbs 24:30-34. Before I ever enjoy "a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest", I will slap myself awake and start working again for the glory of God.
